LeCAKE Athens workshop
It is time for the third LeCAKE workshop. Next week, 2-7th June our team will spend in sunny Athens together with our partners from Hungary, Italy, France, Greece, Germany and Portugal. This workshop, which will take place from 2-7 June, promises to be a great opportunity to connect, learn and strategize the next steps for our project.
A lot of exciting challenges to explore!
The programme is divided into two parts: Inspiration Sessions and Working Sessions. During the Inspiration Sessions we will have the opportunity to learn from other cultural actors and their methodologies. Then during the Working Sessions we will put this newfound knowledge into practice before taking it back home! Our Greek partners, the UrbanDig project, which is hosting this week’s workshop, have a lot of interesting things lined up for us to explore. These include a meeting with the Mediterranean Institute for Nature and Humanities, who will tell us about their work conducting research on the natural and cultural environment in remote areas of rural landscapes, a guided tour of the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Centre, and the discovery of a hidden water vein: Hadrian’s Aqueduct and much more.
